Bnei Herzeliya announced today (Sunday) the signing of a main sponsorship agreement with Ofek Dist company for the 2021/22 season. The team will be called Bnei Ofek Dist Herzeliya, and as part of the sponsorship agreement, the company's logo will appear on the players' jerseys.

Ofek Dist is a pioneer in the MSP distribution field in Israel, specializing in cloud services, IT infrastructure management, and information security. The company represents some of the world's leading manufacturers in this field in Israel, such as N-able, Sophos, and Public Cloud. Ofek leads innovation in the IT field through the technologies it provides to its resellers, as well as through unique business and technological development models for the business market.

Company owners, Amit Guetta, said: "We believe in community connection, and we appreciate the Herzliya team – one of the oldest in the league, which over the years has promoted young Israeli players and given them the stage to break through. We've been looking for a team that connects with our values and for whom we connect with theirs for some time, and there's no doubt we clicked from the first moment. I am confident that we will have a challenging and successful season. Thanks to everyone involved.".

CEO of the company, Rehav Rosenthal, added: "It is a huge privilege for the Ofek connection to the community and to the activity, and certainly to the advancement of Israeli sports and basketball in particular. I believe that movement creates results and the connection to the group matches Ofek's values. We see the importance of supporting Israeli sports teams, and we saw in Bnei Herzliya a young, ambitious team that strives for success. There is a strong community in Herzliya behind the team, with thousands of children engaged in sports activities who see the Premier League players as role models.".

The chairman of the group, Eldad Akunis, "We found great partners for promoting basketball in Herzliya with a company that is experiencing tremendous momentum and strongly believes in our project, which includes promoting young Israeli players and connecting the team with the community.".
