The Sheriff and the Bandits

Imagine a small, peaceful town in the Wild West. At the entrance to the town stands an old gatekeeper, let's call him SEG. He knows everyone and checks everyone entering against an old list of "wanted" people. If someone looks like a bandit with a mask and a bag of money – he blocks them.
One morning a gentleman in a suit arrived in town; he rode a well-groomed horse and smiled at everyone. He presented the gatekeeper with a letter bearing a wax seal that looked exactly like the seal of the large cattle ranch from the neighboring valley. "I have come to settle the payment for the meat shipment," he said politely. The gatekeeper looked at the seal, compared it to his memory, and opened the gate wide. "Good day to you, sir," said the gatekeeper.
A short time later, the boy arrived with the gift. He was a young boy, looking like a local messenger. He handed the doorman a nicely wrapped package and said, "This is a holiday gift from the municipality for the bank manager." The doorman shook the package; it did not tick and did not smell like gunpowder. He passed it along calmly, without knowing that inside the pretty box was hidden a secret map of the bank vault.
And there was also the man who never passed through the gate. He simply arrived from the desert at night, climbed over the back fence where no one was guarding, and wore the clothes of one of the town's residents. In the morning, he was already wandering around the central square, patting people on the back and whispering false rumors in their ears about how the bank was about to close. Everyone believed him—after all, he looked just like one of them.
The old goalkeeper continued to stand in the goal, pleased with himself, while a gang of robbers was already sitting inside the town, drinking beer in the saloon, and planning how to empty the safe without firing a single bullet.
